miss bean, the beautiful butterfly

Ellie was a butterfly in the 1st grade production of “Bugs” last week.  Wait, it may have been “Bugz” with a z.   It probably was “Bugz” with a z.

There were antennae everywhere. Love.

This was the first BIG production Ellie has been in!  Previously, she’s performed in classroom plays and song events for the parents – but this was the ENTIRE first grade, performing for ALL their parents.  And I mean all of them – I think even friends and cousins and neighbors showed up, it was standing room only!

Ellie later lamented not asking for a speaking part… so I think next year she’ll be front and center in the 2nd grade production!  I can’t wait!  But even though she was in the chorus, she was still the star of the show.  OK, I might be a little bit jaded.  Here, judge for yourself.

She was so proud and had sooo much fun. Next up: SUMMER VACATION!!! There promises to be a ton of pictures this summer… the pool, the beach, Jellybeans, picnics… aaaaahhhh I can’t wait!!!
